This section introduces you to McVey & Murricane's Managment Team.

Senior Partner Allan Radlow has been with McVey & Murricane since 1980 and has overall responsibility for managing the Company and its 40 staff. Glasgow born and bred, Allan has spent his working life specialising in Scottish property law. A keen chess player and five-a-side player, his major interest outside the firm is a long-standing commitment to Glasgow’s Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. Allan is a Director of the Hospice, having become involved in the organisation as a result of its care for a close friend who was suffering from terminal cancer. The firm supports the Hospice in a number of ways, including a give-as-you-earn programme whereby staff can donate directly from their earnings each month. It also donates a substantial proportion of its fees from wills to the Hospice, sponsors events and participates in functions such as charity sporting events. As well as leading the Company, Allan Radlow is Chairman of the Scottish Users Group for TFB plc, the leading supplier of software within the legal IT market. He has also served as a Tutor in Conveyancing at Glasgow Graduate School of Law, and a Reporter to the Law Society on Conveyancing issues.

Partner Irim Hussain has been with McVey & Murricane since 1998. A graduate of the University of Strathclyde Law School, Irim has specialised in property law throughout her career, and leads the firm’s Commercial Property activities. Outwith the office, Irim is a keen yoga practitioner.

Partnership Accountant Stuart Maxwell has been with McVey & Murricane since 1999 and is responsible for administering all client funds along with managing every aspect of the practice’s financial operations. A graduate of Glasgow University, Stuart is ACCA and SLA qualified. He is a keen footballer and devoted fan of Greenock Morton FC.

Conveyancing for Intermediaries Department Manager Donna Askew has day-to-day responsibility for the department, and allocates cases to staff. Donna has been with McVey & Murricane for four years, having previously worked for the firm while studying at Glasgow University. She was previously Coordinator of the firm’s Re-mortgaging Department, and has played a key role in instituting the restructuring of the firm’s residential property operations. Donna has been with McVey & Murricane since 2002.

Head of ICT Aiden Curran has overall management of the development, planning and strategy for the department. Key roles of Aiden’s are to develop McVey & Murricane’s ICT strategy so that it is aligned with and indeed enhances the business development plans. Aiden has been with McVey & Mrricane since 2006. Aiden has worked in the ICT management arena for private, public and financial sectors. Outwith the office, Aiden enjoys football and rugby.
